Beautiful self-catering cottages in Herefordshire

Hermit Holidays offers fantastic 4 star self-catering holiday cottages and Manor House apartments in the picturesque Herefordshire countryside. Set in acres of organic gardens, woodlands and trails, these charming properties are perfect for a relaxing Hereford rural retreat and get away from it all country breaks.

The cottages cluster around The Hermitage, Manor House which has for generations been renowned for its breath taking views and blissful serenity. It was even once owned by a former Bishop of Hereford as his summer retreat, although we doubt he did self-catering.


The Old Coach House and Stables have been carefully renovated to form a couple of three bedroom luxury self-catering holiday cottages. They are perfect for both short country breaks and longer holidays and ideal for families, friends and couples as can be booked individually or in combination. There are also three unique holiday Manor House apartments adjoining the main House, which have been lovingly refurbished and are wonderfully spacious and extremely comfortable. From the accommodation there are wonderful woods with marked footpaths to explore, along with our friendly pet, black mountain sheep to meet and full use of the tennis courts to enjoy. We also like to offer guests the use of our organic kitchen garden, where organic vegetables and herbs can be picked.



In your self-catering cottage or apartment you'll find a bottle of chilled wine, organic milk, tea and coffee and flowers from the garden. After a day enjoying the lovely surroundings and the plentiful fresh air (free of charge) - you'll also enjoy a good night's sleep helped by quality mattresses and pillows. There are also eco-friendly products and a recycling policy (we are members of Responsible Travel). For a really special treat guests can order a home-cooked vegetarian evening meal during their stay - short break or longer holiday.
Nearby is the historic cathedral city of Hereford and picturesque Black and White villages together with a multitude of activities and days out within the beautiful County of Hereford.
